The brief was to create a series of mosaic spheres for the garden, using materials that reflect the tones and textures of the surrounding landscape, while also responding to the newly designed interior, where circular forms and sculptural elements are echoed throughout.	The brief was to create a wall mosaic for Cornish Gems, featuring their logo with the letters “C” and “G” intertwined. The design is formed using sea-blue mosaic tiles, arranged in a symmetrical, flowing pattern, and set into a background of small, rounded mother-of-pearl seashell tiles, giving the piece a textured, coastal-inspired finish. Designed in a continuous figure-eight to be viewed from all angles, it depicts a natural Cornish ecosystem, featuring native fish such as mackerel and sprats, a compass jellyfish, local flowers, and bees in motion. The composition flows organically, celebrating the region’s flora, fauna, and the client’s connection to Cornish wildlife.
