Bosulla Forms Mosaic in Landscape
Perched above the Helford River near Falmouth, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bosulla is defined by its connection to land and water. The brief was to create a series of mosaic spheres for the garden, using materials that reflect the tones and textures of the surrounding landscape, while also responding to the newly designed interior, where circular forms and sculptural elements are echoed throughout.
Five mosaic spheres are thoughtfully placed within the garden, their surfaces carefully composed to unify exterior and interior, creating a cohesive dialogue between architecture, landscape, and art. Together, they reflect the quiet rhythm and movement of the estuary below.
