The brief was to create a sauna floor mosaic for a private client in Fowey, designed to be appreciated from all angles. Incorporating Cornish flora and fauna, with particular emphasis on native bees, the composition brings together marine and land elements in a continuous figure-of-eight form. This structure creates a natural sense of flow and movement, allowing the design to unfold seamlessly within the space. Crafted using a combination of Winkelman ceramic tiles and Bisazza glass, the palette achieves a rich and harmonious balance, celebrating the diversity of Cornish wildlife.
