The brief was to create a 40 square metre mosaic for Lord Bath at Longleat, depicting Icarus falling from the sky. Taking three months to complete, the piece was designed for immersion within a pond, allowing water to move across its surface. Crafted using Bisazza tiles suitable for both interior and exterior settings, the palette blends rich blues and greens, contrasted with the golden tones of Icarus’s hair, creating a dynamic and atmospheric composition.
